Julien Porquet





I’m a visual and linguistic anthropologist currently finishing a PhD in the Social Anthropology department of the University of Cambridge. 

I study how people who work with images look together and against each other and how technology transforms, challenges, and replaces that expertise. 

I am a student fellow at the Center for the Future of Intelligence and was a visiting scholar at the CUNY Grad Center and a PhD intern at Microsoft Research.
